About
It all began at Daiquiris Gone Wild in Pearl River.
Andrea and Mike Serpas saw a need for fresh, homemade daiquiris, and business took off quickly.
A huge part of their success was their background in running a construction company. They understood design, and renovated the building in such a way that they were able to capture the feel and vibe that Pearl River residents were looking for.
Andrea and Mike, however, lived in Slidell. They started to notice that there was a lack of romance and style in the bars of their hometown. Every bar had its niche clientele for dance music, cheap drinks, ax throwing, or cigar bars, but there was no where for an intimate date, a quiet place to lounge and work on a laptop, or have a business meeting.
When the location went up for sale, they seized the opportunity. They created an open floor plan with modern but cozy couches, huge windows to let in all the natural light needed for an Instagram-worthy lounge, and a beautiful high ceiling that highlights the enormous bar.
You can’t help but feel as if you were transported to another era set in New Orleans where you just want to sit at the bar and watch the bartender make cocktails you’ve never heard of, or escape with a good book and sit in the huge open window.
